The Death of Rock and Roll (and the birth of the speaker-cabinet planter)

From a previous life, a bass amp speaker cabinet had been sitting around our studio for the last two years. Finally, it was admitted that it probably wouldn't be used again for it's intended purpose since the bass ended up in LA with former bandmate, so after a trip to Home Depot for a jigsaw saw, the conversion began.

Now the cabinet is beginning its new life full of tomato, lettuce and squash starts. I'm still morning the fact that this is a sign we've gotten old and boring, but there's no doubt in my mind I'd rather spend my summer having BBQs on the roof than in sweaty underground venues.
